Want to learn more Photoshop Elements?

My “World’s Simplest Photoshop Elements Tutorials” will get you up and running creating modern digital scrapbook pages FAST! I pared down the program to its simplest, easiest form for this reason.

But, you may want to increase your skills in Photoshop Elements and gain more advanced skills once you master the basics.

I have researched dozens of training sites and have found two that I recommend highly  if you are seeking further training in digital scrapbooking:

* The National Association of Digitial Scrapbookers (NAODS), www.naods.com.

* Adobe Photoshop Elements Techniques.

A Google search for “digital scrapbooking training” will reveal dozens of digital scrapbooking product sites that also offer free training.

Also, if you’re someone who likes to read as well as watch videos, I recommend

* “Teach Yourself Visually Photoshop 7” by Mike Wooldridge and Linda Wooldridge”

* “Photoshop Elements 7 for Dummies” by Barbara Obermeier

* “Photoshop Elements 7: The Missing Manual” by Barbara Brundage

All are available at amazon.com.

I’m committed to your success. If you read the following and still need assistance, please email support@nanscottdesignstudio.com and we’ll do our best to help you.

Creating with Photoshop Elements

To create modern digital scrapbook pages, you will need to use Adobe Photoshop Elements. Even knowing that every customer brings a different level of technical experience as they begin digital scrapbooking, I am confident that if you purchase (or use the free trial of) Elements, register and install it according to Adobe’s directions, and review their online “Getting Started” materials, you will be ready to watch my tutorials and quickly get started creating pages.

That being said, if you have questions about Elements, you will have the most success if you first go to Adobe’s website and access their tremendous database of technical help.

If you don’t feel your question about page creation was answered, feel free to email support@nanscottdesignstudio.com and we will do our best to respond within 24 hours.

Downloading Files

When you purchase a digital download from nanscottdesignstudio.com, you will be sent an email that will contain a link and a password. The link and the password you are emailed are good for 7 days after purchase.

When you click on the link, you will be taken to a Download Page, which will include a window for the password. Enter the password from the email, hit “Download Now,” and your file will begin downloading to your computer.

Please either take note of the location to which your file is downloading (PC) or specify it (Mac).

Note that you cannot download more than one file at a time (due to our security measures).

Unzipping Folders

Your products will arrive in a “zipped” file (compressed to take up less memory). Generally, when the download is complete, you will just double-click on the icon to begin the unzipping process. If this doesn’t work, you will need to do the following:

Windows XP: Right-click on the file and choose “Extract All” from the pop-up menu.

Other Windows platforms: Use WinZip or SnapZip, or another unzip utility. If you don’t have one, a Google search will find several alternatives you can easily install.

Most browsers have no problem downloading the types of compressed files we send, but the MSN browser is the exception. It is a good idea to use another type of browser to download our files.

If you have difficulty with the download  after multiple attempts, please contact us right away at support@nanscottdesignstudio.com. Be sure to put “Download Error” in the re: line.

Billing and Membership

We do everything possible to make sure your membership is secure, accurate, and offers you the best value for your money. If you have any questions or concerns about your membership or billing, please contact us immediately at support@nanscottdesignstudio.com.

More about Adobe Photoshop Elements Technical Support

When you purchase Adobe Photoshop Elements, you gain access to a wealth of training and information from one of the world’s largest software companies at http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshopelements. I created the “World’s Simplest Photoshop Elements Tutorials” with the understanding that it would work best if you also took advantage of the basic training offered on the Adobe website, if you are new to the program.

Among the helpful technical information Adobe offers are

* A 7-minute “Learn Photoshop Elements 7” video.

* A list of over 30 videos and 15 PDF tutorials on a variety of topics, including “Getting Started,” “Using Layers,” and “The PSE Workspace.” Just remember that many users intend to use Elements primarily to organize and edit photos, while the Studio’s emphasis is learning to create modern digital scrapbook pages as soon as possible after installing the software.

* Online help. When you purchase Photoshop Elements, you will be given an Adobe ID and password. This will enable you to access several services on Adobe.com including asking specific technical questions.
